Retirement 101 is a retirement planning and community financial education course created by financial, tax, and legal professionals. It’s designed to provide an impactful and objective educational experience for individuals seeking to better understand their financial situation and options. Students (pre- or post-retirees) learn key terms, strategies and concepts to help achieve their retirement goals.
Whether you are working toward retirement or already retired, this course can bring you valued insight and practical knowledge that can help you realize your financial goals. It is designed to build confidence in your ability to enhance your net worth and financial security. It will also give you strategies for managing the financial impact of life transitions, such as change in employment, passing of a loved one, divorce, moving or relocation, funding college for a child or grandchild, and disability or health-related concerns.
Students receive a 189-page workbook including worksheets, checklists, case studies and text reference for all content covered in the course. The course also includes a complimentary consultation with the instructor (encouraged, but not required).
