Our mission is to help our clients and colleagues live with intention. TFA is a Fee-Only, independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) acting in a client’s best interests at all times, not just when it’s convenient for us. This sets us apart from bank and brokerage firms whose ability to act in your best interest may be compromised by commissions, affiliations, revenue sharing agreements, and/or product sales goals. The Fee-Only method of compensation is the most transparent and objective method available, and minimizes conflicts to ensure your financial advisor acts as a fiduciary. As a result, we do not sell products or receive commissions on any products or services.

Finally, we enforce our fiduciary duty by building unique life plans and implementing a disciplined investment strategy utilizing low-cost, institutional strategies.

We are going to help you build, execute and monitor your individual or family life plan.

Candidly, we can’t determine if it makes sense to work together until we meet and understanding your situation. One of the ways we enforce our fiduciary obligation is to make sure working together is in your best interest, even before you become a client. This means taking you through a three meeting process:

Discovery Meeting

This is where we learn about your life and goals. You share your story and, together, we start to paint a picture of the life you want to live and determine whether you have a plan that can build and/or maintain this ideal life. At the end of this meeting, we will both have a sense of whether it makes sense to take the next step.

Planning Meeting

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM will present the first draft of a plan for you based on where you are and where you want to be. This gives you an idea of what it is like to work with us.

Implementation Meeting

Finally, if we both believe that becoming our client is in your best interest and we have the foundation of a solid plan, then you sign our service agreement and we have an implementation meeting.

Your priorities change as life changes. Your plan needs to change with your priorities. TFA helps you continually refine your plan.

Do you have the resources to live your ideal life?

You will be able to know at any time if you are on track with your plan, even as priorities change. You need someone that can help you monitor, evaluate and adjust your plan as required. TFA has a team of CFP® Professionals at TFA Professionals whose job is to make sure your plan works, which means helping you make the best decisions in the context of that plan. This brings our clients peace of mind.

Are you prepared for life’s surprises?

Death of a spouse, divorce, market crash, new job, inheritance, injury, etc… These are just some of life’s surprises. TFA builds a plan with strategies and instruments to make sure you stay on track.
